I think it's a gift ! not every body have the ability to approach others ..... it really helps u in ur life communicating with others, at work also .... I don't have this ability ...... if i have interest knowing somebody i don't know how to do the first step and never done it, well it goes for both genders looool yaa i know ..... always others do the first step and come to talk to me or have the eager to have me as their friend .... I am glad they Do

It's an acquirable skill, I used to be the same to some extent, but my work's nature pushed me to overcome it, and now I'm doing pretty good :)
It's a talent really. But there are ways to learn it.
I think most Arab ladies have the same shyness issue. Overcome that, and you'll be good to go
By the way, ladies have an easier job, people already want to talk to them, the ladies just need to allow it :)
